My favourite part of Marae Week was learning the haka because if you stuffed it up no one judged you and the whole class supported the Haka group. Another reason I liked doing the haka was at the end of the week we got to perform and compare ours to other classes, another reason I liked marae week was that we got to learn things about the culture of traditional Maori.

My favourite part of Marae Week was learning poi because I got to learn lots of new skills and seeing how talented my classmates are at poi. I also really liked watching the boys perform their haka because it was really good and it was kind of scary. Especially some of the pukana.
