This year we will be offering two different options for netball at Tahuna.

Option 1 is that students will attend netball trials and get placed into a team where they will participate in an 11 week competitive competition held at the Edgar Centre with games either at 3:45pm, 4:35pm and 5:25pm. Each team will require a coach and their own umpire. This will cost approx $95 per player.

Netball Trials will be held at the Edgar Centre on Sunday 26 March with a $2.50 entry fee

Year 7 trials:10-12

Year 8 trials:12-2pm

Option 2 is for students to attend a 7 week netball development programme that will be run at Tahuna after school on a Thursday 3:15-4:15pm. This will be run by a paid coach and will consist of half an hour skills, drills and development and then half an hour of game time. This may be more suitable for students who don't want to fully commit to a team, who are new to the sport and want to develop their skills.

STEEL ROADIE

The Steel Netball Team are on the road, creating opportunities for young players and their coaches. This session will provide players an experience they will not forget, plus they will get some great netball skills.

For Coaches, they will observe the session being run with the Steel players and get new ideas to use in their trainings.
