Dawn Parade 2022

During the recent school holiday a number of Tahuna students attended the Dawn Parade on Anzac Day.

This year Tahuna was well-represented at the Dawn Parade. There were approximately 11 students as well as some of their families. First we paraded at the back of the line with many other schools. Nico (me) and Rupert were carrying the wreath at the front. We just so happened to have stopped 5-10 metres away from the cannon that was fired twice later on. At the end of the ceremony we all laid the wreath together on behalf of Tahuna.

Overall it was a great experience with some nice weather. I would highly recommend it to any of the year 7’s next year.
