Year 7's off with a bang

This term the Year 7's are focusing on Science Fair, Citizen Science and scientific investigations. Classes have been looking at fair testing over the first couple of weeks by changing one variable at a time.

The Year 7's will be learning about forces, energy and motion through in class experiments. Following on from this the students will be devising science investigations of their own to present in week 10 of the term.

We have started learning languages this term and the Year 7's will be working on French as well as celebrating cultural language weeks throughout the term. 

There are six Masters Students working in the Year 7 team this term and they will be taking a variety of lessons while on their placement. We wish them well. 

We will be celebrating Matariki in June within our classrooms and the wider school setting.
