Welcome Year 7's

A warm welcome to all our Year 7's who have settled into school really well.

It has been great walking around the classrooms over the past week and seeing all the year seven classes coming together as they work on the Ko Wai Au unit. All children have been sharing a little about themselves, their strengths, interests and goals for the year.

Many of the Year 7 students have already taken up the opportunity to join sports teams such as volleyball, futsal, waterpolo, touch and cricket.

This term the Year 7's will be heading off to camps at either Tirohanga or Berwick. The first of the camps head out next week. We wish them all the best and good weather. Some of the activities include tramping, cooking their own meals, team building, confidence course, big wall, mud challenge and much more.

Throughout the term we will be looking at the Tikanaga of our school, biographies and autobiographies, problem-solving and a variety of sports.
