Sadie O'Donnell's World Champ Selection

A few weeks ago, during the South Island Regionals, Sadie O'Donnell was selected for the Aerobics World Championships.

Sadie has been doing Aerobics for three years and this year has been attending FISAF competitions.

In August, during the South Island Regionals, Sadie was selected in the individual cadet to represent New Zealand at 2024 Aerobics Worlds in Brazil. The worlds were due to take place in Brazil in late October however they’ve unfortunately recently been cancelled due to severe flooding and closure of the closest airport. They’re currently trying to secure entry to one of the European events later this year so fingers crossed!

Sadie is only the second Otago athlete (after Saige Evans, an ex Tahuna student, in 2019) to be selected for the NZ team in the cadet category!

What a fantastic achievement Sadie!
