A group of Tahuna Leaders were grilled in a Q & A by a lecture theatre full of First Year Teacher Trainees on Monday.
The students were asked lots of questions discussing things like their favourite subjects, what makes a great teacher and what's good about Tahuna. Great work Tatum, Taylor, Sam, Lucie, Ada & Abi!

Tahuna Leader's Lunch

On Friday 2nd August we held our first leaders lunch for the year. Our guest speaker was Kiringāua Cassidy, an ex Tahuna student. Kiringāua spoke about his educational journey and some of the obstacles he has faced. He is a certified Maori translator and had the amazing opportunity to be involved in working for Disney to translate the movie Frozen.
A big thank you to Kiringāua for giving up his time to inspire our Tahuna House Leaders.
