We have an amazing start to the school year and judging by the feedback from our students they have made the most of the opportunities provided here at Tahuna during the course of Term 1.

This Term, Room 20 have been looking into and reflecting on their identity and have worked hard to create some amazing projects to represent this.

Room 17 had an amazing time at Camp this Term. It was a great experience for everyone and a special time to be together as a class. hope you enjoy reading about some of our adventures at Camp.

A successful haul for Tahuna at the pool!

On Friday 5th April, Gina Crampton and Kate Heffernan two members of the Southern Steel netball team came and ran a press conference in the hall. Students had the opportunity to answer questions and get autographs.

Last week, a water box was donated to the school from the company Stantec, for our ongoing Y8 interest in our local Tahuna waste treatment plant.

After the successes of the 2018 and 2019 trips we are again looking to create the opportunity for amazing students to travel to China in 2020.

Once again we are lucky to be able to have three amazingly talented students come to our school and cluster for this year. The have been working hard designing classes that are fun and interesting for all our students.

We welcome our International Guests to our school. There are opportunities to welcome a student into your home during various times of the year. There is a group arriving in August 2019.
