Mountain Biking Success

On October 14th and 15th I competed in the South Island Secondary School Mountain Biking Champs held at Signal Hill here in Dunedin. I was entered in the Under 13 Downhill, Super D and the Cross country.

Room 1 Enjoy Rock Climbing at Long Beach

Room 1 was grateful for the beautiful sunshine on our recent visit to Long Beach. Students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to utilise the skills they learned previously on the rocks. Everyone faced a challenge, enjoyed the sunshine, BBQ lunch, treasure hunt and beach cricket. Special thanks to the adults who helped with supervision and transport. Without you, trips like this couldn't happen.

Year Seven Speech Competition

Congratulations to Nikhil, Isabella and Mei who won our year 7 speech contest held last Friday. The year 7's did very well presenting a variety of speech topics such as Climate Change, Blob Fish, Food, Clothing and motivation.

NationaL Hockey Tournament

On the 8th of October 2017 I went with my team to represent Otago in the Under 13 Collier Cup. We flew to Christchurch, then Auckland and then took a van to Tauranga.

Kia ora! Great start to Term 4

Term 4 has begun very well with everyone settling back into school routines after the holiday break. It is a busy term as there are many learning activities happening in and out of the school. Although less students enrolled for the internationally renowned ICAS Exams this year the results showed a huge improvement. Emma Tasker and Ray Ma achieved High Distinctions!
