During weeks 2-4 the Year 7 students will be participating in the DCC Bikeschool programme. Every class will have 3 x 1.5 hour sessions. The instructors will be covering basic road safety and bike confidence, to get the children more confident riding a bike.

The bike school encourages children to bring their own bikes and helmets. The bike school will do a free safety and fitting check of these, which is fantastic heading into summer. The children will initially be biking on the school grounds before the instructors take them based on their ability onto the road or down to the bike track.

A set of school bikes and helmets is available for those students who don't have a bike.
