Harakeke uses, tikanga and weaving

We learned about harakeke and how it's uses and the tikanga around harvesting it have clear sustainability values for our whenua (land) and the environment.
Students created a poster based on the tikanga or protocols around harvesting harakeke, each student harvested their own piece of harakeke and weaved a putiputi (flower).
