Rockshop BandQuest, start rockin'!
BandQuest will be on in August this year, entries due by July 7
Rockshop BandQuest is for bands (3-10 members) no older than year 8, with everything performed live; no prerecorded or mechanically performed instruments/vocals. Bands are to play a short two-song (6 minutes) set or medley of covers or original songs. Although we encourage getting students to write their own songs (there is an award for best original song), the judges will be briefed to focus primarily on performance skills when making assessments.The event day runs with a rehearsal during the afternoon and a public, ticketed performance in the evening.
The website (www.bandquest.co.nz) is updated now with dates, regions, and conditions of entry, and the online entry process will be open on 3rd May
