Tahuna Camps 2023 are UNDERWAY!

After a very niggly start to school camps for 2022 we are off with a hiss and a roar this year with our school camps.

In week 3 Tahuna has two Y8 classes out at Whare Flat Camp Waiora and two Y 7 classes out at Tirohanga. The weather has been gold and after a visit out to the camp we found 'happy campers'.

Year 7 camps are at a combination of Tirohanga and Berwick camps and our Y8 camps are out at Whare Flat - with the exception of one camp who are heading out to Warrington and the Silver Peaks.

Over the years Tahuna has built up excellent resources for camps and we have our students experiencing tent building, bivouac building, shooting, archery, GPS courses, 6 hour tramp, biking, waterslide, swimming, kayaking, surfing, floundering, confidence course, frisbee golf, cooking, shellfish gathering, star gazing, night walks and the famed evening spotlight sessions.

Teachers and students alike are fizzing for the adventures! May the stunning weather long continue.
