If you are going to use the following public bus service as recommended by the ORC as detailed below please let the school know on office@tahuna.school.nz and we will have a teacher at the transfer and departures stops for the first 2 -3 days to ensure the children using these buses know what they are doing and are safe.

Thank you to all those students who attended trials. The A/B training squads and other teams have now all been selected. Registration forms and uniforms will be given out at the start of Term 2. The Term 1 Volleyball season concluded on Friday 6th of April. All teams made huge improvements throughout the term and we are looking forward to building on these skills in Term 4.
Room 6 has been using robots as part of their mapping and maths units this term.

As part of the School Kit 'Get NZ Writing' program Room 14 spent Monday morning doing a nature walk around Tahuna to get inspiration for our metaphor poems.

Macy Woodason has been awarded five trophies at her Port Swim Club Annual Prizegiving.
On Tuesday, myself and Mike McCaw (Chairperson Board of Trustees) attended a meeting with the Otago Regional Council (ORC) around the Peninsula Bus Service. We were invited to this meeting along with representatives from Bayfield High School, Queen’s High School and Tahuna Normal Intermediate.

On Tuesday, 20th of March, Year 8 students from Room 4 donated a seat and plaque, on behalf of present and past Tahuna students who have spent time learning to sail with members of the Waihola Yact Club.
