This term, the Tahuna Enviro Group has decided to transform our overgrown vegetable garden into a fresh space for us to use (see some before and after pictures attached).

The group have been hard at work weeding and removing rubbish and have now added fresh soil, so it is all ready for us to start planting next week.

We would like to extend a special thanks to our caretaker, Jason, who has helped us fix and organise this space.

We can’t wait to see what the garden will produce in the coming months!

Preston Wheeler, has once again proven his incredible talent in the world of gymnastics. Competing at the New Zealand Gymnastics Championships in Palmerston North during the recent school holidays, Preston achieved outstanding results.

He took out first place in the All Around competition for Level 7, beating out 25 other talented gymnasts. This impressive win marks his third consecutive year as national champion in his level, a testament to his dedication and hard work.

Preston's success didn't stop there! In the Apparatus Finals, he secured first place on both Vault and Parallel Bars, and earned second place on Floor and Rings. These achievements bring his total number of national titles to an astounding 12 over the past four years.

Preston's dedication, hard work and attitude towards being the best he can be has well and truly paid off.

The entire school community congratulates Preston on his incredible achievements and wishes him continued success in his gymnastics career!
