In June this year I went to Wellington to play for Otago in a New Zealand Under 26 tournament. It was a 5 person team so I was pretty excited that I was picked. The tournament went for 3 days from Friday to Sunday, with the finals on Sunday. Each day we were playing until about 9 o'clock at night. We ended up winning our 5th-6th playoff against Auckland. Most of my teammates were above the age of 20 so it was an awesome experience for me and I'm really looking forward to having another chance to go next year. 

I have also been picked in the Dunedin Mens Development Team, where we will play against the Central Otago Mens Development Team.

Abi Crowley, Charlotte Evans, Chloe Lyons, Claudia Nicholson, Lucie Scott, Nelly Hedley and Rose Connor travelled to Christchurch for the U14 Girls Football Tournament in Kaiapoi. The girls play for the Dunedin City Royals and went all the way to the final against Auckland United, after beating the best team in Christchurch, Halswell Development in the Semi Final, and winning a penalty shootout in the quarter final against Timaru United.

Great football was played, with great team spirit and encouragement of each other, and the girls placed 2nd overall to a very good Auckland side, who are the best in the Auckland competition.
