Year 7 News

Last week the Year 7's had their annual Marae Week. The students have been busy working on their haka, and all classes presented these to a high standard. It was great to see the child up on stage participating with their classmates and for some children pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.

Congratulations to Room 19 who won the school haka competition. Good luck to the two teams who are in the Ki o Rahi final- yet to be played.

No doubt if you are a parent of a Year 7 you would have seen the amazing work the children did in the technology rooms. There was some great mahi going on in there.

A huge thank you to our tuakana who have helped the tēina of our kura. We are really appreciative of the work you have done with the Year 7's. A thank you to Morgan Nelson and her team who came to train our tuakana in harakeke.
