Te wiki o te reo Māori 2022
What will you be doing this year to support te reo Māori as a living language in Aotearoa New Zealand?
Did you know that the Māori Language Petition was presented at parliament 50 years ago with over 30,000 signatures from New Zealanders asking the government to teach Māori language in schools?
This year on the 14th September you can join the commemoration livestream at parliament 12 pm Petihana Reo Māori 50th Anniversary Events.
Get involved!
