Pest Traps
We were very lucky last week to have JP, Kati Doehring and her parents Wolfgang and Evelyn visit the school to construct pest traps.
The Burrell tamariki have expertly crafted the housing for our traps and we are in the process of determining the best locations for them around the school and wider school environment. Next term we are planning to have a group of children learn how to bait and set the traps, record information on a pest control app and monitor the pest movements within our community. This is important work and we would like to thank Kati for organising this for us and of course JP for the fabulous work with our students. We will be asking the students across the middle and senior school for expressions of interest and potentially asking for some parent support around trapping, so keep tuned :)
