Helmet and Wheels Day on Thursday 24th March

Keryn Donovan —

Gold Coin donation to Brain Injury Awareness. March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and we are raising awareness of the effects a traumatic brain injury can have on a person, their family/whanau and work colleagues.

This year we are supporting Brain Injury Awareness with a Wheels/Helmet day. Our tamariki are encouraged to bring their wheels to school and use them at morning tea and lunch IF they bring a helmet.

There will also be prizes best decorated helmets and of course wearing helmets (correctly).

Even if children don't usually wear helmets with their scooters, skates etc., they will need to wear or make one for the day. No trikes or electric wheels this time please.

Watch this: How to wear your helmet safely.
