I'm Charli and I am trying to raise money for Shave for a Cure. I want to do it because one of the people I love has cancer and I want to make her proud and raise money for research.

I am going to shave my hair next weekend. I have grown my hair long for 6 months! It was really painful and annoying but I pushed through it. I am going to shave my hair at my house with some of my family and they are going to video the whole event.

Next Wednesday I am going to run a competition “ How many lollies are in the jar?” Pay as much as you want for a guess. All proceeds go to my funding raising. I will set up outside Koropepe at morning tea and lunchtime.

I feel really good about what I'm doing. I have been wanting to help people ever since I was 8 years old and now it is actually happening. I am super proud of myself.
