Tēnā koutou i te whānau, Greetings everyone,

Tai Tapu School —

A warm welcome to whānua to Term 4.

We have had a great start to the term. It has been lovely seeing our learners arriving at school, excited and eager, to tackle the busy term ahead.  It’s going to fly by!

We welcome Ailsa Mackie to Koru 3. Ailsa is stepping into Emily Burtsenshaw’s role while she is on maternity leave.

It is with great pleasure for me to let you know that Emily had her baby girl on Tuesday - Tegan. We wish Emily well and hope to see her for a school visit sometime soon.

We are also looking forward to meeting our new Principal. Amanda Clarkson will be popping in over the term to meet our community. She is hoping to make it to Pet Day. 😊

Over the next week the Year 8s are working on their Lady Rhodes sampler. See the photos below. The Lady Rhodes Sewing Competition is a great Tai Tapu School tradition. You’ll be able to see the fruits of their labours on Pet Day.

Please get in touch if you have any questions. Pop into the office or give me a call. More information about planning for 2025 will be coming out shortly.

Have a fabulous weekend.
