The EPro8 Classroom Week is a week-long STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) programme for the whole classroom.

During the EPRo8, our usual classroom activities are put aside for a week. The ākonga experience a week-long intensive Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) learning programme.

The learning hubs finish the week with an EPro8 Internal Event, which is run similarly to the external competition.

Ākonga work in teams to complete a challenge. Each team uses one set of EPro8 Construction Equipment. Teams compete to complete a challenge during a two-hour event.

The top TWO teams from each EPro8 Classroom Week qualify to represent your school in the EPro8 Challenge Event Series, an interschool competition.

It was fabulous to witness the creativity, teamwork and persistence the learners demonstrated during EPRo8 experience. Well done to the Year 5-8 teachers for all the effort you put in for the event.
