Tena Koutou Katoa Nga mihi nui, ki a tatou katoa – Warm greetings to you all
This week we have had so many children getting TAKI kid awards, it's awesome to see so our school values in action. We have been posting these on HERO, so if you don't have the app or its not working, then please let us know.
This week seen our lunch provider pull out of the lunches in schools programme yesterday. I met with the Ministry yesterday and have managed to find a provider to cover the last four weeks of term: Lee's Catering in Invercargill. I am meeting with them today.
Therefore, we are going to carry on working on being the first Primary School to offer an inhouse service. I will be working closely with the Ministry of Education to make sure this is up and ready for term 4.
We do require some staff and now have two job descriptions available for anyone who may be interested. The first is a Catering Assistant and the other is a Catering Lead position. The total contract will be for 30 hours per week, term time only.
If you are interested then just flick us an email and we can send out the job description.
A very huge thank you to our PTA and whanau for coming to our rescue today to provide a lovely hot lunch and treats. I am sure the children will be very grateful to have such a wonderful lunch today.
Have a great weekend.
Nga Mihi Nui
