Welcome back to 2023 and a fantastic year ahead ......
It was wonderful to see our tamariki and whānau coming in the gates as school started on Wednesday. A very special welcome to our new students and families new to the area. We are very diverse with many cultures and opportunities to learn from each other.
While a short and very hot week, students are settling back into routines well. We are enjoying smaller class sizes with the opening of our fourth classroom, Ruru. We welcome new staff, Mrs Karen Crosbie and Miss Paula Stewart with Mrs Jayne Ridley in Ruru. We will have Student Learning Conferences shortly, but please feel free to drop by and meet kaiako. They would love to meet you.

Thank you too, to Kylie Ewings our super cleaner who has gone on to full-time employment. Not always a glamorous job but very important; we will miss you Kylie.
There is a lot planned for the year, music lessons, camps, drama, many sporting events and much more. Lots of learning and fun to look forward to.
Our super new website is up and running. It has taken time and is a work in progress, but do check it out for full information about the school. If at any time, you do have any concerns/complaints please be in contact. The policy is on our website through School Docs.
Our school vegetable garden is thriving. Thank you to the amazing helpers who came in over the holidays to water and weed the gardens. The produce is amazing lettuce, broccoli, beetroot, strawberries, spinach, cauliflower, basil, tomatoes, and more! Classes will be using the produce, however we have more than enough! So check out the box at the school gates with our organic and super fresh produce for you to take and enjoy.
Enjoy the long Waitangi weekend.
