Wednesday afternoon was a lovely hot afternoon and we had a mix of three classes together.

Kereru Year 6 students worked with Tui and Piwakawaka in small groups to design a costume for a taki kid!  With lots of noise and some problem solving between different members of groups, and lots of different techniques they came up with some pretty cool outfits.  The outfits were quite hard to judge so we decided that everyone was a winner in a different way.

There was some amazing teamwork and ideas being shared by all students as groups came up with their outfits.  Each outfit was presented with a brief synopsis by a team member.  A lot of fun was had by all.
