Tamariki across Tamai Kāhui Ako got to sample a variety of summer sports. Sports Canterbury's Tū Manawa Funding funded this initiative.

The tasters were designed for tamariki to try a range of summer sports and promote physical activity. Sports included touch, cricket, tball/softball, athletics, golf, and dodgeball. Sessions were run by coaches at Kelly Sports with the support of local sports clubs. A big thank you to Ben from Tamai Sports and Kat from Southern Districts Cricket that gave their time to come down and promote their sports. 

Please talk to your children about the certificates they received and get them enrolled in a club this summer.

Next term tamariki will compete in a dodgeball tournament at Sporting Edge Indoor Centre.
