Join us on Tuesday 18th August for a walking tour through Spa Park Restoration sites, contribute to the maintenance of sites, and listen to our local experts talk. We will meet at 12:00 at the entrance by the bottom carpark.

The tour will cover topics such as the history of restoration in Spa Park, Predator Free 2050 and local trapping, and rare geothermal plants (and how to protect them). We will also stop along the way to discuss things that we see such as bugs, plants, fungi, and geothermal features.The tour should be all finished by 2:00, but we will then have an opportunity for those who are keen, to join our 'Wicked Weeders' group to do some mahi in one of the restoration sites and learn about common weeds in the area.

All welcome. School groups please RSVP as soon as possible. We will send you a completed RAMs for the event.
Please come prepared for the weather, BYO packed lunch/drink bottle and wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring gardening gloves and secateurs if you have them (we will have some available for you to borrow if you need them).
