**** Mitre 10 Mega - Classic ****
This is our tried and true event where you can enter, pick up your kitset trolley from Mitre 10 Mega and put it together as a family project, or you can enter a trolley from a previous year.

You can make minor cosmetic changes and decorate it as you like, but the trolley needs to be built as intended.

Each participant gets 3 racing runs with their fastest time being their official time.

Spot prizes will be given out on the day for creative decorations and creative costumes.

**** Taupo International Motorsport Park - Open ****
This is where the rubber meets the road, well the grass in our case.

Design and build your trolley in the style of a Redbull Soapbox racer and race it on our grass track.

Keeping in the theme of the ever popular Redbull Soapbox race, each team must prepare a 20 second pre race routine before sending their creation down the ramp.

Teams will be judged on three aspects - speed, showmanship, and creativity.
