Vaping

Ben Hancock —

We have seen the number of students who are partaking in vaping rapidly increasing this year. More and more students are taking up this habit for one reason or another.

The laws state it is illegal to sell a vape to a person under 18 and it is also illegal to vape or smoke on school grounds. However there are a number of students who continue to ignore these laws and the health warnings that come with vaping. Our expectations for all students is that there is to be no vaping or smoking on school site or school trips, however there are a few students who choose not to follow this expectation. We will contact whānau if their son or daughter is caught vaping and we will ask you to come in for a hui that day.

Here are some resources for whanau on Vaping-
