What a banger week. It was incredible to see the positive school culture and unity among our students. The school involvement was top notch and certainly created some shifts in the current Waka Points standings. Tainui kicked the week of with S-Day, and a morning playing musical chairs. Tuesday saw Aotea create a school wide pyjama day and put on an epic Waka challenge relay that got the whole school involved. Mataatua hosted Dream Job Day and a super fun relay that required heaps of teamwork. Arawa’s Day saw everyone dressed as movie characters, and the infamous eating challenge. The week was not complete without the Annual Talent show hosted by Arawa. The talent seen was spectacular and encouragement from the audience made the afternoon a bunch of fun. Massive shoutout to the Taupo business’s that sponsored prizes for the winners. Finally a HUGE thank you to our Waka Leaders and Student Exec who planned this week. Your outstanding Mahi is much appreciated. Most definitely a jam packed week of fun and one to remember!

To end off our Hauora Week we had the annual Tauhara Talent Show full of outstanding acts! We had some amazing prizes donated by very generous local businesses. A massive thank you to AJ Hacket Bungy, The Cozy Corner, The Bistro, and The Coffee Club! We couldn't have done it without your support.A huge congratulations to Vontesse and Anaraoi for grabbing first place, Zinny for second and Isabella and Caitlin for a shared third!! You are all so talented!
