Brooke and Olivia Moore - Master Chefs!

Brooke and Olivia had another successful year at the Waikato Culinary Fare Competition.

Olivia came away with 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals and Brooke - 2 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze. Just amazing, I'm so proud of them! 

In addition, Brooke as a Year 11 student is completing a NCEA Level 2 Business Studies qualification and is competing in the Young Enterprise Scheme National competition. She was awarded first place in the Regional competition for the Promotion Task in Term 2. Her $150 prize money will be a welcome addition to her business bank account. Her sister Olivia was the winner of the Term 1 competition.


Brooke’s brainchild is an innovative and new to New Zealand product that harnesses molecular gastronomy to produce warm ice-cream. Her company is named Crema Calda and you can follow her on Instagram @crema.calda or @the_flambeed_fig. She uses unorthodox flavours and hopes to stretch the limits of ice cream innovation.
