School Senior Ball 'Old Hollywood'

Tauhara College recently hosted a dazzling School Ball themed "Old Hollywood," capturing the timeless elegance and glamour of classic cinema. The event took place at the Great Lake Centre, which was transformed into a scene reminiscent of the golden age of Hollywood with a red carpet, and shimmering lights.
Students arrived in an array of stunning outfits, with the gentlemen donning sharp tuxedos and the ladies in glamorous gowns. Will Gallagher made a particularly memorable entrance, earning the award for Best Arrival, in a Tractor. The red-carpet experience, complete with paparazzi flashes, set the tone for an unforgettable night.
The students showcased their dance moves, enjoying a variety of dances including the Macarena, the waltz, and the energetic 'clap clap' dance, filling the room with joy and laughter.
The highlight of the night was the awarding of titles to students who truly stood out to their peers. Harrison Pointon and Stevie Manunui were crowned King and Queen, respectively, while Sean Barbour and Emma Speedy took the titles of Prince and Princess. The camaraderie of the night was also celebrated with Noah Lovelock and Harrison Pointon winning the Bromance award, and Kayley McAdie, Roshni Affendoulis, and Aja Topless being recognized for Sisterhood. The Best Couple award went to Ella Johnson and her partner.
