The Tauhara Jetts proved they were here to play this year. This group of girls came from different teams ranging from years 9 through 13. As the team entered into the unknown of a new season with a new team the girls quickly jelled and bonded which lead us into a fantastic winning streak. Under the dedicated coaching of Mel Bennett and Angela Watson the team not only had fun playing Netball but developed their technique, became dominant in their positions and played our game. To further hone our skills we took part in the indoor Netball competition run by the Open A team. As the girls visibly became a team on court success was in our sights. This lead us to winning the B Flight Weekly Shield and overall winners of the B Flight grade for 2018. Big thanks to our coaches, parents, supporters and most of all the outstanding, extraordinary team mates who made this year one for the books.
