The Year 9 section of the Prizegiving started with Achievement and Diligence Awards for students in each of the six core classes and their option subjects. This was followed by a speech by Emma Speedy called 'Ignore the haters, just be yourself'. Emma won the Johnson Trophy for the best speech in Yr 9.
