Term Three Reflection

Joanne Lewis —

Thank you for contributing to making Term Three another great term at Tauhara College!

It has certainly been another very busy and vibrant term at Tauhara College. Well done to all of our students who continue to make the most of their opportunities and contribute so positively to the culture of our school. One of many events this term where this was highlighted was during our Enrolment Week where there were many comments from visitors about how positive it was to interact with our students.

This term saw the school being reviewed by the Education Review Office and this was a good opportunity for us to reflect on the previous three years as well as areas we need to keep focusing on going forward. We look forward to the report being confirmed very shortly and sharing this with the community.

It was also very exciting to hear that five students have been nominated for the Board of Trustees Student Trustee election. Thank you to all of these students for standing and being willing to contribute to continuing to ensure that Tauhara College is a positive, inclusive and exciting school for all of our students.

The Board also gratefully acknowledges all the work of our outgoing student trustee, Jack McNeill. Jack has modelled the school values during his time on the Board and demonstrated care, courage and commitment in keeping the focus on learning opportunities and the well-being of all students in the school.

The Board wishes all of our students and staff a safe and relaxing break in preparation for Term Four, which is promising to be another very busy term focused on learning.
