Steven came 44th out of over 200,000 participants from around the world which was an outstanding achievement!

Well done to everyone who participated in this competition. We had outstanding results this year and our language students represented Tauhara College really well in this international competition.

Tauhara College placed NZ 6th overall with 155,529pts, World ranking 4th in 101-250 students category

Japanese – NZ 4th, World ranking 19th with 96,459 pts

Maori – NZ 8th, World ranking 9th with 19,547 pts

Spanish – NZ 11th, World ranking 33rd with 30,291 pts

Our top students, Steven Nuth and Francis Humby made it to NZ top 3 in Japanese, Harrison Pointon made it to NZ top 5 in Māori. In addition to this, Steven made it to the World ranking Top 50 overall. An excellent achievement.
