In honour of ANZAC Day, tamariki at school were given the opportunity to view official veterans medals and an Army beret.
Room 4 had a small ANZAC display that included members of our tamariki whānau, and Whaea Megan gave the children the opportunity to see some medals and an official SAS beret.
These are special taonga in Whaea Megan’s whānau, and belong to her brother-in-laws father who was a corporal in the NZSAS.
