On Tuesday Rachel visited Room 1 and taught us about native plants in preparation for our Te Whenua Rangatira - The Sacred Land of Pollination area that will be in the garden area.

We had a look around our school to identify some native plants and what their purpose was. Then learnt about what plants we need to have to invite our pollinators and their purposes. 

It's always great learning with Rachel and we can't wait to get our Te Whenua Rangatira - The Sacred Land of Pollination area looking great.
