What an amazing experience. Tauhara Primary School has had the privilege of having the Heartland Rugby Team train on our school field in preparation for their rugby game on Sunday. They are versing the New Zealand Police team on Sunday the 6th of November, at 2.05 pm at Owen Delany Park. The game will also be televised live on Sky sports.

After their practice, the team then played two 15-minute games with many of our middle and senior students. A group of juniors also got the privilege of practising some drills and skills with some of the players. Many of our students received prizes and memorabilia from the rugby team and they got the chance of getting signatures from the players as well. The students loved having the rugby team visit and they hope to have them visit our school again.
