Trustee Talk

As previously communicated, our Taumata School Board recently experienced a casual vacancy following the resignation of parent-elected trustee David Lewis. The Board promptly informed our community of this vacancy, and advised their intent to use aselection process to fill the position. We are pleased to announce that the vacancy has now been confirmed through selection, in accordance with the Education and Training Act 2020. Our Taumata School Board includes parent representatives: Ben Fitchett, Gareth Thomas, Andrew Tarr, Lauren Bradley, and Mark Mcilroy.  Gen Fuller (as Principal) and Arlenna Porteners (as staff representative) complete our school board.

As we progress through the early stages of this term, the Taumata School Board has been working to finalise our strategic direction for the years 2024-2025. Our focus remains on key overarching themes including; Our Purpose, Our People, Our Partners, and Our Place.
