TBC —

35 TBC athletes competed at the WBOPSS Athletics Champs on Tuesday, 26 March at Tauranga Domain.

An impressive 12 finished in the top three, securing their spots for the upcoming NISS event in Palmerston North in two weeks' time.

Stand-out performances:

  • Adriaan Nel (Yr9), three wins and 16cm off the WBOP JB Discus record.
  • Sam Ruthe easily won the IB 800m and 1500m titles.
  • David Mora won both the SB Shot and Discus events.
  • Dylan Griffiths won the IB High Jump
  • Isaac Johnstone ran a strong race to take out the IB 400m title.
