Congratulations to Year 12 student Hugo Corin.

Hugo was one of the nominees selected by the Tauranga Performing Arts Competition Society to represent Tauranga at the Performing Arts Competition Association of New Zealand’s National Young Performer Awards held in Palmerston North at Labour Weekend. 

The Tauranga delegation had a great weekend, coming away with two podium finishes and a special award. 

Hugo came away with the national title in the Speech and Drama section against very tough competition.
