We are fast approaching the end of Term 1, to date we have 90 plus students in Gateway placements or getting ready for placements.

This week we started with our JNP Aviation programme (Level 3) with 8 students taking up the opportunity to learn what happens behind the scenes at airports.

A group of our boys started with Domett Truck & Trailer engineering and Domett has provided a great support system for them all to gain valuable work experience with great future prospects.

Pacific Coast Technical Institute - Field Days in Paeroa. 

This was a great opportunity for a couple of likely lads to gain on-farm skills with PCTI providing tutors and Agrisea NZ Seaweeds Ltd providing the venue and lunch.

Caffeine Crew 

We (the students) rock-up to The Cafe Hut, Miss Coffy shares her knowledge and skills with us. Then we serve our customers (the teachers). We enjoy working within our crew, making coffees, and providing food service, making sure we clean up and enjoy our morning tea, before returning to our normal school day.
