The BMX NZ Nationals were held in Tauranga over the weekend of 18th & 19th March.

BMX New Zealand, the Central Region BMX and the Tauranga BMX Club were proud to host and present the 2023 BMX New Zealand National Championships. This is New Zealand's premier ranking event for BMX racing. The Tauranga BMX Club hosted this event at the established Cambridge Park national standard track, which presented an exciting challenge for all levels of riders. 

Results

• Gabe Roberts (Yr12) placed 4th overall in the 17-34yo male category and 2nd overall in the 17-24yo male category. 
• Daniel Mason (Yr 9) place 2nd in his semi-final and 3rd qualifier on the gate.  The racing was extremely hectic and Daniel finished with a reputable number 5 ranking in NZ.
