Held at Mount Maunganui on Sunday 12th March.

With an onshore breeze and sub-optimal water conditions, three Tauranga Boys' College triathletes competed in the Marra Sprint Triathlon.

Distances for the Marra Monsters Individuals were a 400m swim, 10km bike and 2km run.  Congratulations to all three boys who placed well, out of the 23 males taking part in this category.

Results:

• 4th Place - Sam Ruthe, Yr 9 (pictured below)
• 8th Place - Luca Dohnt, Yr 10 
• 9th Place - Dane Wooster, Yr 10 
• 12th Place - Josh Smith, Yr 9 

Sam also placed 1st in the Men's event taking on the swim leg with our very own Mr Hyett doing the cycling leg for this team!
