Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!

Rooms 3 and 4 are learning to write recounts with interesting beginnings. We started by blowing millions of bubbles on the back field to inspire us. We have had toolbox lessons on writing a question to start a recount, and then we learned about speech bubbles and dialogue.

Room 3

“Look out Mrs. Palfrey, there’s a big bubble,” yelled Sydney.

“I’ve never seen a bubble so big,” said Bella. - by Millie

“I like to pop bubbles,” said Austin.

“Look, I can fit in a bubble,” yelled Charlie.

“I want to play with the bubble,” said Emma.

“Zoom, zoom, I am a fast fighter jet,” said Brodie.

Room 4

On Monday, Room 4 who were the juniors, went out on the court to blow bubbles. “Oh, no, I ate a bubble,” cried Ziggy. “Oh, no there is a bubble on my head,” I yelled. - by Waris Sandhu

On Monday room 4 went out on the court to play with bubbles. We had so much fun popping and eating bubbles. “I’m going to pop your bubble,” I shouted. “Well, I’m going to pop your bubble then,” yelled Beau. -by Deacon Christie
