Kia Kaha

Lisa Rose —

Constable Emma Buxton spent time in each class last week talking to students and hearing all about their learning as part of the Kia Kaha programme which was integrated into classroom themes to start the year.

Kia Kaha enables students to develop strategies for developing positive and respectful behaviours that promote safety for themselves and others. Kia Kaha consists of a comprehensive range of anti-bullying resources to help children and young people learn and apply a range of safe practices that they can use when interacting with others.
Thanks Constable Emma Buxton for coming into our classes last week. We love having you in our school.
