Congratulations to the students who recently took part in the 40 Hour Famine.

The purpose of the event this year was to raise money for children in South Sudan. The money raised this year will support South Sudanese refugees in Northern Uganda with nutritious food, clean water, safe toilets, a place to live, and education and play in child friendly spaces.

The challenge for the students participating was to go without something for 40 hours, eg reduced food, no technology, limited clothing, withdrawal of a favourite possession.

We are very proud of the students who selected to take part in this challenge.

Sponsorship money is due back to school by Wednesday the 20th of June. Thanks to those students who have already sent this money in.
