Our Tauriko red runners were well represented across the finish line at Thursday's West Cluster running event hosted by Te Kura ō Pukahinahina (Gate Pā).

Congratulations to all of our runners who qualified for the West Cluster Cross Country event. Schools within our West Cluster include: Tauriko, Oropi, Greenpark, Gate Pā, Pyes Pā, Greerton Village School, Kaimai and Taumata. The cross country track at Pukahinahina was an exciting one with a bush gully, stairs and steep gradients and plenty of mud to deal with along the way. Our Tauriko runners were awesome; demonstrating great attitudes, perseverance and skill as they ran- Ka Rawe! Thanks again to our fabulous parents who supported us with transport and marshalling on the day.

These 6 runners who placed in the top 7 finishers will now represent the West Cluster at the Western Bay Cross County Champs next Tuesday at Waipuna Park - GOOD LUCK TEAM!
